This week on Biased Transmission our studio guest will be Dr. James Kracht, Executive Associate Dean for Academic Affairs of the College of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M University, who is a member of the Texas State Board of Education panel of experts on social studies curriculum in public schools. Dr. Kracht is one of three mainstream academics on the panel of six appointed experts, and testified before the State Board of Education earlier this month. We will be discussing the future of the social studies curriculum in Texas public schools and his insights into the often controversial State Board of Education.
