After speaking for several minutes during his opening remarks, Representative Noriega thanked everyone for being at his cousin’s restaurant and then opened up the floor to questions from those that had gathered.
The first question was about education and what his views are on our education system. He talked about student grants, veterans G.I. Bill, and increasing teachers pay. Then Representative Noriega connected a strong education to his energy through the research and development that comes through research and development that causes breakthroughs in technology.
The second question was about the housing market and what his views are on the current economy and housing crisis. Representative Noriega commented how it is unfortunate that the current philosophy of bailing out the large corporations and leaving out the working class citizens.
“We have yet to feel the full affect in this state.”
