It has been an interesting month, and this blog has continued to take shape. Throughout the last two months I have refined my voice, and I have focused my political views. I have also learned a great deal about the political environment and the community of bloggers that I have joined. Through exploring other blogs throughout this state and the voices found on community blogging sites I have discovered many things about myself and the online community.
Today as I watched Representative Noriega speak to the voters I felt a sense of both participating in the political process and as sense of activism.
This month blogger stereotypes where shattered by Phillip Martin at the Burnt Orange Report, and at Texas Kaos it seems that every day there is another Texas House or Senate District race being broken down. Sharon at Bluedaze showed us the cost of irresponsible drilling and made the oil companies and the Texas Railroad Comission nervous, while Alex showed everyone what it is really like in an Army of Dude and what the war really looks like.
Thank Yous:
Thank you to Sharon at Bluedaze, I have enjoyed our conversations and I have appreciated the support.
Thank you to everyone at Bloggers For Noriega, I am glad to be apart of the group and lend my voice towards the campaign to elect Represenative Noriega to the United States Senate.
Thank you to everyone at the Burnt Orange Report and the Texas Kaos, I have been glad to have an extra outlet and I have appreciated all of the comments.
Thank you to Donnie Dippel and his campaign for being open to answer my questions, and thank you to Robert and I hope you and all Democrats in Bastrop bring in the vote for Dippel in November.
